The Department of World Languages and Cultures is pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Brady of the Hispanic Studies program has been awarded tenure and promotion to the rank of Associate Professor.
Brady has had a busy and successful year. Her article “Writing Life in the Twenty-First Century: The Body and the Self in Paul Auster's Winter Journal and Juan José Millás's El Mundo” was published in the Comparative Studies Journal, and she had an opportunity to visit with Spanish writer Millás during a trip to a conference in Spain (pictured above).
In addition, she wrote four entries for The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Spanish Films and penned a chapter about the theatricalization of Sancho Panza for a book of reflections on the 400th anniversary of the publication of the second volume of Don Quijote.
