Keri Hager, associate professor, was featured in the December 13, 2019 Office of Academic and Clinical Affairs' Clinical Connections article, "Collaborating to Advance Opioid Treatment for Patients." It highlights Hager's work offering clinical pharmacy services within the Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment's residential treatment homes and opioid treatment program.

H. Thompson Buum, M. Dierich, P. Adam, and Hager had their article,“Implementation of a direct observation and feedback tool using an interprofessional approach: A pilot study,” published in the Journal of Interprofessional Care. 2019;23:1-4. doi:10.1080/13561820.2019.1640190.

A. Philbrick, Hager, J. Lounsbery, J. Y. Moon, C. Pereira, M. Undeberg, S. Westberg, and S. Laura Palombi, assistant professor, and Marcia Gurno of the St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Department led naloxone training for Medical School and College of Pharmacy students on the Duluth campus on January 21, 2020. The event was featured in the Duluth News Tribune story, "Naloxone kits distributed to Duluth medical, pharmacy students."
