Laura Palombi, associate professor, was invited to serve as a panelist for the April 21, 2020, University of Minnesota Office for Public Engagement event, "Leveraging Community-Engaged Research: Policy Change and Community Development During a Public Health Crisis."

Palombi and student Hannah Van Octen were invited to present "Pharmacists on High Alert for Human Trafficking" as a national webinar for the American Pharmacists Association on May 20, 2020.

J. Griffiths, P. Wallet, L. Pflieger, David Stenehjem, associate professor and associate department head, X. Liu, P. Cosgrove, N. Leggett, J. McQuerry, G. Shrestha, M. Rossetti, G. Sunga, P. Moos, F. Adler, J. Chang, S. Sharma, and A. Michael Swanoski, associate professor and senior associate dean, was selected to receive the University of Minnesota Pharmacy Alumni Society Faculty Recognition Award, which recognizes contributions to the Pharmacy Alumni Society/University of Minnesota Alumni Association, as well as alumni, the College of Pharmacy, the University of Minnesota and/or the profession of pharmacy.
