UMD Assistant Professor of Theatre History Jenna Soleo-Shanks has had an article entitled “The Spectacle of Sainthood: Politics and Performance of La festa et storia di Sancta Caterina in Siena” published in Performance and Theatrically in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
This volume contemplates the cross-cultural study of theater and performance and its effects during the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods. This article was published by Brepols Publisher (editor Markus Cruse) in August of 2018.
