Causes and Consequences of Illegal Immigration

Around the world, through the ages, migration is as real as life. See decades of photos.

The event, The Roads Most Traveled: Causes and Consequences of Illegal Immigration with Don Bartletti, will be presented on October 12 at 4:30pm in Kirby Ballroom

For 35 years, Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Don Bartletti has documented and told the stories of migrants making the often dangerous journey from Latin America to the U.S.  Migration for survival is as old as civilization, unstoppable as the wind and frequently misunderstood. His work focuses on those for whom migration across our southern border cannot be distanced or dispassionate.  He found courage, fear, joy, hate, success, and failure - just as it happened - raw and unscripted.
