After 64 years at UMD, KUMD is signing off and will sign back on as WDSE-FM. The sale of the radio station to WDSE.WRPT (PBS 8) is final on December 1, 2021.
From a physical address that was below ground, to its show “The Basement '' being nationally televised, KUMD’s accomplishments and challenges, as well as its rock & roll reclassifications, are all an integral part of UMD’s story. Here are a few highlights:
