The Chancellor's Unit Campus Climate Change Team announces the We All Belong Creativity Exhibit, an all-campus art show focused around the theme: Being Antiracist: Doing Antiracism.  Entries will be assembled into a video for everyone to view beginning on March 2 as part of the 2021 Summit on Equity, Race, and Ethnicity.

Submit Your Work

Students, staff, and faculty are all encouraged to submit artwork. Students are eligible for between 10-15 cash prizes of $25-$100.

Submit your art to the 2021 We All Belong Creativity Exhibit. As with everything as we work our way through the pandemic, things are looking much different, but the organizers of this exhibit are finding ways to adapt and move forward. The Chancellor's Unit Change Team, the Viz/MMAD Labs, and the Commission on Equity, Race, & Ethnicity are working together to create a new format for our previous in-person art show. The exhibit will feature all submitted artwork on the UMD YouTube site. Entries will be assembled into a video for everyone to view beginning on March 2 as part of the 2021 Summit on Equity, Race, and Ethnicity. Winners will be contacted before the video goes live.

Large Format Outdoor Viewing

This year, UMD is adding a new component: large format outdoor viewing. We will have all the details about the outdoor show by mid-February. We hope to use the side of a UMD building or another large outside location to project all of the entries and feature the winners.

Submissions are open to anyone from the UMD Campus Community and will be following the theme of the 2021 Summit - Being Antiracist: Doing Antiracism.
