“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

UMD is co-sponsoring the following Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Arts and Culture Festival events. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader of the U.S. civil rights movement in 1960s, where he worked toward a time when people of all races would live together peacefully, with equal rights.
