UW-Superior, UMD and CSS Host Twin Ports Undergraduate Psychology Conference

The University of Wisconsin-Superior will be the host location for the Twin Ports Undergraduate Psychology Conference that will be held on Friday, April 22 from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm inside the Yellowjacket Union. This free event is co-hosted by the University of Minnesota Duluth and the College of St. Scholastica.

The community is invited to attend the conference, with the keynote, titled "Diverse Brains," delivered beginning at 12:30 pm by Dr. Morton Ann Gernsbacher. She is a Vilas Research Professor and the Sir Frederic C. Bartlett Professor of Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Gernsbacher's research has for over 30 years investigated the cognitive and neural mechanisms that underlie human communication. She has published over 150 journal articles and invited chapters and authored Language Comprehension as Structure Building.

The Twin Ports Undergraduate Psychology Conference offers students from around the Midwestern Region the opportunity to present their original research. Graduate schools from around the Midwest will be on campus to recruit students into psychology-related fields.
