This year's keynote speaker is Jason "JC" Jones. He was a four-year football letterman (fullback) with the Bulldogs who, after graduating in 1995 with a criminology degree, went on to a distinguished military career. The Cherry, Minn. native served in the Navy from 1997-2007 as an H-60 pilot and as a strategic planner with the U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, Neb. He was aboard the USS Enterprise during Operation Enduring Freedom (including on 9/11) and the USS Theodore Roosevelt during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jones is currently a government civilian at the Pentagon where he works in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a counterterrorism policy analyst for Iraq and Syria.
