UMD Continuing Ed Expands Development Team

Michelle Purvis has joined UMD Continuing Education as an Instructional Designer. 

Purvis will be creating and designing online and in-person workshops for CE’s professional development portfolio, as well as for CE’s contract and customized training clients.

Purvis has a bachelor’s degree in education from Moorhead State University, and a master’s degree in human development from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis. She has previously been published in the Wall Street Business Employment Weekly and Presentations magazine. In 2011, she earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential from the Association of Talent Development (ATD) and has been honored for her work in the field of learning with a Women of Distinction and WDC Outstanding Instructor Awards. She has over 20 years of experience in the areas of workplace learning and performance, and in designing and implementing professional educational activities.
