Concerts on the Pier

Glensheen announces its biggest lineup, as the concert series celebrates its fifth season of free entertainment.

This summer, Glensheen Mansion rolls out another Concerts on the Pier event series every Wednesday night in July.

But this summer, it’s different. Concerts on the Pier will be bigger and better.

This July, there will be 2x the music, double the food trucks - and it’s still free to attend.

Concerts on the Pier has been belting tunes from Glensheen’s 100-ft pier that juts out into the greatest lake on the planet for five years now. As a celebration of the series’ fifth year, Glensheen is opening up the gates an hour early, adding an opening act to each night, increasing the food truck options, and bringing back the biggest bands from the last five years.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bike, boat, walk or kayak to the concerts as parking is limited. Plus, experts say the best seats in the house are on Lake Superior.

The parking lot and street parking fills quickly. Please refer to the City of Duluth’s alternate side parking calendar here.

Outside food and beverages are prohibited at this event. Bring your own chair or blanket to watch from the shoreline. Please, only service animals are allowed on the estate.

Gates open at 5 p.m. so be sure to arrive early to ensure a good spot. Music starts at 6 p.m. and concludes at 8 p.m.
