UMD’s David Cowardin, videographer, and Stephanie Bartsch, graphic and multimedia communications associate, are celebrating big wins after the annual University of Minnesota Communicators Forum conference last week.
Cowardin, who works in the University Marketing and Public Relations office, took home two of the Communicators Forum’s highest awards. He won:
- The Maroon and Gold Award, presented to the entry with “the most elegant solution within the means available” (bang for your buck)
Cowardin wrote the poem and shot and edited the video.
- Interactive Category Gold Award
Student feature on Bulldog Cory Dixon
Bartsch, who works in the International Programs and Services Office, won a Maroon Award in the "design, multi-page print" category for the UMD Study Abroad catalog.
