JoAnne Brock, senior safety engineer, 3M, Cumberland, Wis., recently earned her Certificate in Frontline Leadership from UMD's Continuing Education department.
"I learned a lot about myself and my co-workers during these leadership courses. I feel more confident in leading others and creating a more cohesive work environment, " said Brock.
The Certificate in Frontline Line Leadership was launched in September and is earned by completing 30 hours of course work in such areas as communication, conflict, business acumen, and performance management.
Continuing Education graduated four professionals from the Certificate in Frontline Leadership program in December 2016.
