Inclusion Infusion - Reading Circles

Informal reading groups designed to stimulate discussions about diversity and equity in order to create a stronger UMD community.

UMD Commission on Equity, Race & Ethnicity (CERE) invites the community to join one or all of the 2019 Reading Circles.

Participants are invited to attend as many of the session as desired. These events are designed to expand awareness and appreciation of diversity issues and enhance the feeling of community. All are welcome to participate, or just to listen.

Reading Circle Books

Guests are invited to check-out books at the UMD Kathryn A. Martin Library on a first-come, first-served basis. Six to ten copies of each book will be available one month prior to the event.  People are welcome to read and bring their own copies of the books. The sessions are informal, where people are able to read all or part of the books, or can just come to listen.

The events are co-sponsored by the Kathryn A. Martin Library. All events will be held in the 4th Floor Library Rotunda.
