Business Resource Summit

Learn from successful local entrepreneurs on Tues., May 2 at Clyde Iron Works. 

Join Duluth Mayor Emily Larson along with experts from the City of Duluth, local entrepreneurs, the UMD Center for Economic Development, and the Entrepreneur Fund on Tues., May 2 at Clyde Iron Works, 2920 West Michigan Street, Duluth. The event begins at 7:30 am with breakfast and panels, followed by networking from 8:30-9 am. This event is open to the public. Cost is $15 per person. Registration is required

The panel includes Tom Hanson, OMC Smokehouse; Lynette Steen, Lynette's Portrait Design; and Angela Stocke, Angela's Bella Flora, now Refinelife Coaching. These entrepreneurs will discuss how they started their small business, what challenges they overcame, lessons learned, resources, and tips for success.

Participants will receive information on news programs and loans and hear from City experts about services. Additional experts will be on hand following the presentations.

This event is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and regional support partners.
