Bulldog Lobby Day kicks off on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 7:30 a.m. as Student Association members and campus leaders board the bus for the State Capital. They’re gathering in the Kirby Bus Hub, 1208 Kirby Drive. Nearly 50 students, staff, and faculty are planning on making the trip.
“This is UMD’s chance to show legislators why UMD is critical to Minnesota,” says Lynne Williams, director of University Marketing and Public Relations. “I’m especially appreciative of students who take time out of their busy lives to advocate for their peers and this campus.”
Bulldog Lobby Day schedule:
7:30 a.m. Duluth participants riding the bus meet in the bus hub
11:15 - 11:45 a.m. Speakers and UMD presence in the Capitol Rotunda
12 - 3 p.m. Break into small groups for individual meetings with legislators
