2015-16 UMD Chancellor's Awards Announced

Three UMD faculty are recipients of 2015–16 Chancellor's Teaching, Research, and Service awards.

Victor Nemykin, Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Research/Creative Activity
Viktor Nemykin, professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, and recipient of the 2015-2016 Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Research/Creative Activity, will speak about, "New materials for solar energy conversion, nano-scale electronics, and imaging." Shane D. Courtland, Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Public Service
 Shane D. Courtland, assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and the recipient of the 2015-2016 Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Public Service, will give a presentation entitled, "The Importance of a University's Commitment to Public Outreach." Brian D. McInnes, Horace T. Morse Alumni Association Award

Chongwon Park, Albert Tezla Teacher/Scholar Award

Shannon Stevenson, Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching
