Whether newly hired in a supervisory role or in a long-standing position with supervisory responsibilities, anyone in charge of a business initiative that calls for critical leadership skills will benefit from the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) Frontline Leadership Certificate Program.
This professional development series consists of five full-day, non-credit workshops designed to build a strong foundation of knowledge and skills necessary for emerging leaders or to reinforce core components of leadership for existing high-performance leaders.
Participants learn from LSBE faculty and professional practitioners who are greatly skilled in leadership dynamics—Julie Ahasay, Jerritt Johnston, and Dr. Kanhaiya Sinha.
Upon completion of all five workshops, participants earn the Frontline Leadership Certificate. Enrolling for individual workshops outside of the certificate program is also an option.
The 2020 workshops are:
Foundations of Leadership – January 30
Interpersonal Communication and Conflict – February 27
Basics of Finance and Strategy – March 25
Building Influence and Managing Performance – April 30
Building Effective Teams – May 28
Each workshop is $350; the full series is $1,500. (The fifth workshop fee is only $100 upon enrollment when competing the certificate series.)
Workshops will be held in Suite 210 in the Duluth Technology Village, 11 East Superior Street in Duluth, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes break with a provided lunch.
