Open Studio Event

Open Studio will happen on Saturday, August 24 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in Art & Design's classrooms and art studios.

Open Studio is an open-door community event that shows UMD and Duluth what UMD SFA’s Art & Design department has to offer. It will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 11 am–2 pm in Art & Design classrooms and art studios in Montague Hall and at the Tweed Museum of Art. It is FREE and open to the public.

Explore our various disciplines with a wide range go hands-on activities like print-making, bead-making, wheel-throwing, photography, animation, letter-block stamping, drawing, and more!

All of our areas will be represented including studio art, art history, and design! We will have some exciting giveaways as well and a pretty cool selfie station from Art History!

This event is great for creatives, folks considering a creative field, or community members and families looking for some fun! We hope you can join us!
