Art and Design Assistant Professor Darren Houser featured in a variety of current art exhibitions

Art and Design Assistant Professor Darren Houser currently has two pieces on exhibit at Cade Art Gallery, Arnold, Md.  An all-media national juried show titled "Inner Worlds."  Juror Anke Van Wagneberg serves as senior curator at the Academy Art Museum in Easton, Md. The show runs Nov. 21-Jan. 18.

Houser currently has one piece on exhibit at Artists Image Resource (AIR) in Pittsburgh, Penn., as part of a national juried printmaking show titled "Printwork 2017."  The juror is Joseph Lupo, and the show runs through Feb. 4.

Houser recently had work accepted into "The Chautauqua National Juried Exhibition: Transformations" in Richmond, Ky.  The juror is Tami Beldue. The show runs Jan. 1-Feb. 2.

Houser and Associate Professor Ryuta Nakajima co-currated the 'Urgin' for Sturgeon' art exhibition at Belle Isle Aquarium, Detroit, Mich. It runs through Feb. 28.

Houser and  Nakajima participated as visiting artists for Wayne State University's James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History in conjunction with their sturgeon art exhibit in Detroit, Mich.
