Congradulations to Emily Gaardner who has been selected to receive the Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Public Service for 2017-18!
The Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Public Service honors faculty who have demonstrated extraordinary and sustained commitment and achievement in public service and community engagement. This award will recognize a faculty member who has demonstrated an integration of civic and community engagement in their teaching; shown leadership in advancing students’ civic learning; conducted community-based research; fostered community partnerships; promoted the scholarship of engagement among his/her colleagues; or made contributions to positive change on issues of public concern.
Emily will be honored at an all-campus awards ceremony and reception on Wednesday, April 18 at 3 p.m. in the Kirby Student Center Ballroom.
