UMD Art & Design's Annual Student Exhibition runs through April 28 at the Tweed Museum of Art. This is an annual exhibition of work executed by UMD students and juried by visiting artists. This year’s jurors are Chris Monroe—cartoonist, illustrator, and children’s book author—and Melanie Walby—design director of Pollen Midwest.
Join students, faculty, staff, and community members on Sunday, April 28 from 3–5 p.m. at the Annual Student Show Reception. Help us celebrate the students’ work; enjoy music and refreshments. Stay for the awards ceremony at 4 p.m.
The Annual Student Exhibition features over 60 works of art by more than 50 different students working in a range of media including: animation, ceramics, digital art, drawing, graphic design, motion graphics, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video. The exhibition design was created, in collaboration with the Tweed Museum of Art staff, by students currently enrolled in graphic design courses at UMD.
