WLC Film Series 2019

Films will be presented consecutive Mondays at Zinema Theater.

The 2019 World Languages and Cultures Film Series: "Currents and Countercurrents" will take place over five weeks beginning Monday, March 25, 2019. All films will be presented at 7 pm at the Zinema Theater at Zeitgeist, 222 E. Superior Street in Duluth. Screenings will be followed by discussion and light refreshments.

Monday, March 25, 7 pm: Aus Dem Nichts (In the Fade, 2017, Fatih Akin, Germany) 

Monday, April 1, 7 pm: La Jaula De Oro (The Golden Dream, 2013, Diego Quemana-Diez, Mexico-USA) 

Monday, April 8, 7 pm: Wo Bu Shi Yao Shen (我不是藥神) (Dying to Survice, 2018, Muye Wen, China) 

Monday, April 15, 7 pm: Un Prophete  (A Prophet, 2009, Jacques Audiard, France)

Monday, April 22, 7 pm: El Silence De Otros  (The Silence of Others, 2018, Robert Bahar, Almudena Carracedo, Spain)
