Undergraduate Research Showcase 2018

April 10, 2018

UMD students present undergraduate research projects.

UMD will exhibit student research projects at the spring 2018 Undergraduate Research and Artistic Showcase on Friday, April 13, from 11 am–2 pm. Students’ poster presentations will be held in Kirby Ballroom 1120. Nine oral presentations will be held in the Garden Room starting at 11 am, lasting twenty-minutes each. Sixty students in all will participate in the showcase which is sponsored by Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).

UMD’s UROP offers financial support for research, scholarly, or creative projects that are completed in partnership with a faculty member. The showcase is an opportunity for these students to present their achievements to the public. Each poster presentation highlights the student’s involvement in the program.
