July 15 at Glensheen: Five courses of inventive dishes from local chefs, using locally grown ingredients.
You have seen it on Pinterest, you have seen it in a magazine...now see yourself at that trendy Farm to Table dinner with the long table...
We present to you Avant Garden.
It is the North's "Farm to Table" event. 100 people will be seated at a long table between Lake Superior and our 39-room mansion.
You will enjoy a five course meal with wine pairings produced from food of the Lake Superior region. Even the table flowers are from the Lake Superior region.
To make the event even more crazy amazing, it is organized by Duluth Loves Local, the great group who brought you the Winter Village event.
The overall purpose of the event is celebrate our Lake Superior growers.
Locally sourced ingredients will be prepared by Marita POP UP Restaurant, Zeitgeist Arts Cafe, At Sara's Table/Chester Creek Cafe, Va Bene Caffe, Zenith Bread Project with a special gift from New Scenic Café. Take in lake views, local music from Superior Siren, decor from Duluth Flower Farm, tasting stations around the grounds and the gorgeous Glensheen estate at this farm-to-table, mid-summer dinner.
Saturday, July 15 , 5 pm Cocktail Hour, 6 pm Dinner , Bonfire on the shore to follow.
