Application Ongoing Support Change
ITSS is considering a procedure and cost change for ongoing application support.
ITSS designs and develops applications for the campus to meet specific business needs. Historically, we have provided free maintenance for the applications during their life cycle.
We are looking at charging a fee that will result in better application support including the following:
- Major security updates
- Application status monitoring
- Application consulting
- Fundamental application support
All applications qualifying for the criterion would be charged 4 hours annually, or 1 hour quarterly, based on ITSS rates. We also hope this charge can partially recover our labor cost to support these applications.
