UMD’s Student Association. He joined this organization during his freshman year and absolutely loved it. He says, “I've always wanted to be involved and know what is going on, on campus.”
Being on the board of Student Association gives him the opportunity to meet the people that govern the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has met with Chancellor Black, vice chancellors, and deans, in hopes of bringing positive change to UMD.
His work, alongside his colleagues, consists of, “working tirelessly in order to make our campus a great and inclusive place for everyone,” Arkhipenkov says.
His role has also helped him gain strong public speaking skills, along with making him a more “involved student and citizen.” He goes on to explain that he loves working for an organization that focuses their efforts on voicing student’s concerns as well as bringing new and valuable ideas to the university.
Please feel free to reach out to UMD’s Student Association via email if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or if you’d like to get involved.
