Why:
The Grad Fair gives Bulldogs an opportunity to buy everything they need for graduation– things like caps, gowns, diploma frames, and announcements. In addition to commencement information, UMD staff will also be on hand offering financial aid exit interviews, career resources, and commencement information.
Lendley “Lynn” Black, Chancellor of UMD, says the Grad Fair kicks off a long-awaited celebration. Due to COVID, this is the first time that UMD has hosted in-person commencement ceremonies since 2019. “Graduation is an especially poignant milestone this year, as we recognize the determination it took for our Bulldogs to get their degrees during a global pandemic.”
UMD has two ceremonies scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Amsoil Arena.
The College of Education and Human Service Professions and Labovitz School of Business and Economics ceremony is at 10 a.m.
The College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences and Swensson College of Science and Engineering ceremony is at 3 p.m.
