The list will appear in their December/January issue of the magazine and was announced at an event held Thursday, December 8. Interim Chancellor Dave McMillan is named alongside five other leaders in the northland.
Dave McMillan was appointed Interim Chancellor of UMD in August 2022 after serving on the University of Minnesota Board of Regents for over a decade. McMillan is energized to ensure students of all backgrounds will be successful throughout their academic journeys at UMD, which serves as a launching point for long and fruitful careers. He understands the connection between higher education institutions and a diversely skilled workforce, and welcomes opportunities for UMD students, faculty and staff to contribute to the region’s future.
“I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve our campus, the region and the State of Minnesota in this important role,” said McMillan. “I am also very honored to be recognized by Twin Cities Business as one of 100 People to Know in 2023. Thank you and go Bulldogs!”
